$25 off Any 2020 Premium Sitka Seafood Shares

I received a box of Sitka Salmon Shares just in time for the holidays. Salmon is one of my favorite fish to eat and I was delighted when I got it in the mail. Every fillet of salmon in the box is fresh and tastes so really good. I seldom buy fish from the store because I had a not-so-good experience. Since then, my hubby and I prefer to catch our own fish from the nearby lakes.

For those who haven’t heard about Sitka Salmon Shares yet, below are your food for thought:

  • It is wild-caught from the pristine waters of Southeast Alaska and the North Pacific
  • It is harvested using hook-and-line methods to minimize negative ecological impact
  • It is traceable to the boats of fishermen owners and trusted community partners.
  • It is fishermen-centered
  • Their fishermen receive an average of 20-30% more for their harvest, which can equate to $10,000 extra income in a given season.
  • Premium – blast-frozen at the peak of freshness to ensure the highest quality, guaranteed.
  • Convenient – can be home delivered directly to your door, with recipes and a newsletter about the fishermen who caught that month’s share.
  • Conscious – carbon offsets purchased and 1% of revenue donated to efforts promoting small-scale fisheries and conservation in Alaska.

I made Chile – Lemon Salmon. For someone like me who is culinarily challenged, I like my food simple and easy to make. Here is the recipe and my Christmas eve supper.
