The internet gives us one of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to meet people from all around the world. Due to the internet revolution, even dating can now be done online. In fact, online dating has become a major means of socializing with today’s younger generation. I can attest to this myself since I met my husband online nine years ago. You have the option to “make new friends”, “chat” or “date” depending on what you are looking for. There is also an option that allows you to customize your account and profile. You can link your profile directly to your Facebook profile which is a very handy feature. You can set your account so that you meet only people in your nearby area that you want to interact with. I tried the app to make new friends in my area and then chose the age range and gender that I wanted to be friends with.
Using the Hot or Not app, you can set up a list of your interests and then contact people with similar interests. Once you have set up your account and profile, you can start rating and looking through the pictures of each person. Underneath the picture, you can find out how many people have rated the person and the score.
The app is very easy to use. I first started by downloading the app on my PC and since I don’t have iTunes on it, I had to download it first. It took sometime to download iTunes so I cancelled it and started using the app on my PC through Facebook instead. That was quicker and easier.
