Mall of America

When I first came here to the US, I flew in by myself and it was my first time flying across the Pacific Ocean. At the time, I had no idea what lie’s ahead of me except that I trusted God for bringing me and my husband together. It was ten years ago when I first arrived here in the United States of America.  I can’t believe that it has been that long since I moved in with my husband.  It feels like it was just yesterday.  I am now a believer that time really flies fast when you are having fun.

It has also been ten years since I first visited the Mall of America.  That was when I had a chance to take pictures of the mall.  My husband picked me up at the Twin Cities airport. The Mall of America is not that far from our hotel so we decided to grab something to eat at one of their restaurants, did some shopping and checked out their Underwater World before driving back to my hubby’s humble abode.

The Mall of America is the biggest mall in the US. I had a lot of fun touring the mall, especially our underwater adventure. I saw different species of fish, sharks, turtles and so on. I just realized that I haven’t visited the Mall of America since then. Hahaha, I did not know that it has been that long. I guess I haven’t saved enough money yet to have an excuse to go back shopping there again.

Kidding aside, I am four hours away from the Mall of America so going there just to shop doesn’t make sense to me because there is a mall nearby my place. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of people from around the world that go shop at the Mall of America, especially at this time of the year.  I will, however, stop by there when I have something else to do in the Twin Cities.
